ABOUT ME

I’m Aimee, a conservation project lead with hands-on  experience in private and non-profit conservation projects across Aotearoa, New Zealand.

I grew up in Hawke’s Bay and studied at Otago University, and I’m deeply connected to New Zealand’s natural landscapes. Guided by the principles of kaitiakitanga, I combine field experience with strategic planning to help projects thrive and connect communities with the places they care about.

In Hawke's Bay, I coordinated a multi-faceted conservation project across 2,500 ha, and what drove me most was building and supporting a thriving community-led volunteer team.  I have seen first-hand how clear communication, organisation, and leading by example empower people to take ownership and make a real difference.

In addition to volunteer coordination, I have led tourism development initiatives, including market research, product development, and the coordination of visitor experiences. I believe good work deserves to be seen, and this drives my passion for advocacy, which I deliver through tourism development, media planning, and community outreach

I now work as a contractor for several South Island NGOs and  ecotourism operations in the North Island, supporting conservation projects with practical solutions, community engagement, and strategic project partnerships.

Good work deserves to be seen.

Whether through tourism, volunteer outreach, strategic partnerships, or community support, your project deserves visibility. I’m here to help you tell that story
